The company

In 1971, the firm Etablissements Vandenbulke was founded, with its main line of business being wrought ironwork for private individuals.
Over the years, the company developed and it shifted from cottage industry to industrial operations, making parts for various economic sectors:
• Aerospace
• Hydraulics
• Machine tools
• The textiles industry

In February 1996, Etablissements Vandenbulke was taken over and STIM was created.
In April 1997, after major economic development and numerous investments, the opportunity presented itself to take over SUPEC (a mechanical engineering company with a business line complementary to STIM's) and offer it new prospects for development due to their complementary nature.

In September 1999, the first numerically controlled machine was completed.
In January 2002, ISO 9001/V2000 certification was obtained for full satisfaction.

These combined actions enabled STIM to fulfil its three prime objectives for customers :
• Quality
• Meeting deadlines
• Reponsiveness

In December 2008, STIM was integrated into the GTMI Group.

2013: In order to get our customers satisfied, STIM expends its business in sandblasting, metal plating and painting on all our products when necessary.
